Next time you want to check your land mutation entry records, you don’t need to visit the record room in person. You can do it from the comfort of your home at just a click of a mouse or touch of your smartphone screen. The revenue officials in Malegaon have worked day in and day out to make these data available online.
Tahsildar Nitinkumar Deore who has been keeping a close watch on this project said there are 151 villages under his office and entry records of these places have been uploaded online. “For this project, we pressed into service enough manpower including talathis and awwal karkuns. They have worked tirelessly to put all these records online so that when the citizens want these records they can get them easily,” Deore said.
Services such as old satbara, birth and death records, changes and other documents of 151 villages of Malegaon taluka have been made available online. “Our revenue officials have scanned these records and then uploaded them online,” Deore added.
There were a total of 15,00,692 records and the task of scanning these records and subsequently making them available in the form of e-records was daunting. However, Tehsildar Deore through a team work ensured the work was done in a timebound manner.
As per the guidance of Nitin Sadgir, the Sub-Divisional Officer and Sub-Divisional Magistrate, the team worked under the supervision of revenue officials Bharat Shewale, Pradeep Bharaskar, Rahul Deshmukh.
Deore further said the online facility will definitely cut down on the rush of citizens to the tahsil office. People can also use this portal to register their entry records. Besides, the best part is that they will be able to do it from the comfort of their home, he said.
