On Monday, Nandurbar District Rehabilitation Officer (DRO) Nitin Sadgir was appointed Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) and Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Malegaon. While there was no official word yet on the new posting of outgoing SDM Vijayanand Sharma, the Revenue and Forest (R&F) Department said a separate order will be issued soon over Sharma’s new responsibility.
SDM Sadgir is likely to take charge on or before June 15 as stipulated in the order. At present, Sadgir is working as District Rehabilitation Officer (DRO), Nandurbar. After clearing the MPSC examinations for Deputy Collector in 2015, Sadgir started to work as a Probationary Officer, and from 2017 to 2019 he was SDO in Gadchiroli district.
From 2019 to 2021 he was SDO Tumsar in the adjoining Bhandara district. And after that, he was serving as District Rehabilitation Officer (DRO), Nandurbar till this date. While speaking to The Voice of Malegaon, Sadgir said he was likely to assume the office on or before June 15 as the order stipulates transferred officers to do so on or before the specified date.
Apart from Sadgir, the R&F department transferred four other officers of the rank of Deputy Collector, in Nashik Division. Shri Kundankumar Sonawane, Assistant Commissioner (Land Reforms), Nashik has been assigned the new task of Assistant Commissioner (Backward Class Office) or Magaas Varg Kaksh, in place of Shri Nilesh Jadhav.
Shri Shashikant Mangrule, Sub-Divisional Officer Sangamner has been named Deputy District Electoral Officer Nashik. Shmt Swati Thavil who was Deputy District Electoral Officer Nashik has now been shifted as Deputy Collector (Irrigation No 1) Nashik. Similarly, Shri Sanjay Bagade who was Deputy District Electoral Officer Nandurbar has now been made Secretary (सचिव, गार्हाणे निराधार प्राधिकरण, सरदार सरोवर प्रकल्प), Nandurbar.
Shri Nitin Gawande from Deputy Collector (Rohoyo) Dhule to Resident Deputy Collector Dhule, Shri Vitthal G Sonawane from Administrator Navnagar Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Nashik to Assistant Commissioner (Land Reforms) Nashik, Shmt Archana Jadhav Tambe who was waiting for a new posting has been given the charge of Deputy Collector (Land Acquisition No 13) Pune, Shri Sandeep Chauhan has been appointed Deputy Collector (Sangayo) Mumbai Sub-Urban.
Similarly, Shri Vikram Bandal who was Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Pachora has been named Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Vita in Sangli district. All these transfers have been effected after the state government received request for the same from these officers who were seeking a new responsibility after completing three or more than three years of service in their current position.
