Two days ago, this man had predicted Turkey and Syria earthquake but no one paid heed

A seismic researcher working with Solar System Geometry Survey going by the acronym SSGEOS two days ago had almost exactly predicted that “sooner or later” there will be a 7.5 magnitude earthquake in South Central Turkey, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon but no country in the world even the governments of these worst affected countries paid heed to his warning and failed to take precautionary measures.

The researcher going by the name Frank Hoogerbeets describes about himself in his Twitter profile as “@ssgeos– utmost respect for planets, especially Earth”.

In the early hours of Monday, the Central Turkey was hit by a worst earthquake in a hundred years measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale. The magnitude of the earthquake was so severe that parts of Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Israel also reported seismic activities in their regions. After Turkey, Syria has been the second most worst affected country due to Monday’s earthquake.

Since morning, Hoogerbeets’ and SSGEOS’ twitter accounts have been flooded with queries from different parts of the world with people bombarding them with curious questions as to how they were able to foretell almost an exact prediction. Here’s another tweet by Hoogerbeets that came after the earthquake were reported warning of more such seismic activities in the region.

Watch for additional strong seismic activity in Central Turkey and nearby regions. Aftershocks usually continue for a while after a major earthquake.

Apart from Hoogerbeets, SSGEOS has also been flooded with a barrage of questions. The organisation which describes itself as a “research institute for monitoring geometry between celestial bodies related to seismic activity” as part of its response to these queries has to say this, “Many people are commenting on our tweets and asking questions. Please understand that we cannot possibly keep with this huge flow of responses. We share all the information that we have, including the planetary geometry on 4-5 Feb in our videos. Thank you for your understanding.”

On Twitter in the profile, SSGEOS describes itself as, “research institute for monitoring geometry between celestial bodies related to seismic activity”.

It is feared that more than 10,000 people have died in the aftermath of these worst earthquakes and over five lakh are feared trapped under the debris and thousands of buildings have been destroyed. Both Turkey and Syria have appealed to the international community to join forces with them in the mammoth rescue and relief operations.
